Search Using EEO Occupation Codes

The following applies to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Tabulation 2006-2010 (5-year ACS) data only. If you’re looking for additional occupation data, click Topics on the left-hand navigation menu, then select the Occupation topic under People - Employment (see Search Using Topics for more information).

EEO Occupation codes are only used with the EEO Tabulation. Search for an EEO Occupation Code by entering an occupation code, description, or Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code in the occupation code search box, or by selecting occupation code filters from the occupation code filter options. When you enter an occupation name, code or description in the occupation code search box, a drop-down list of possible matching occupations displays. Click GO in order to get the full list of results for the search. Occupation code filter options let you refine the list of occupation codes you can choose from based on pre-defined occupation groups.
