Loading a Saved Query

You can restore a previously saved table or map by loading a saved query. The loaded result will only recreate the last version of the map or table you saved, not the filters under your selections. For example, if you saved a table showing the population of Arkansas and Oklahoma, you can access that table from the main page by clicking the load query button and following the instructions below.

Load a Saved Query

1.    Click load query, images\ebx_1830299538.gif located on the right side of the American FactFinder main page.

2.    Click browse from the Load Query pop-up display.

3.    Select the file you saved during the Bookmark and Save Query process and click OK.

All queries are saved with a default extension of .aff. To open a query it must have this extension.

4.    The previously saved table or map displays.

Note: Your selections will only contain the geographies, race and ethnic groups, and industry codes that were present when the query was saved. The other selections that were made to get to the table or map are not saved as part of the query.

Note: Uploading a second query will override the original query.
