As part of the release of Summary File 2 (SF2) data, the Census Bureau released quick-tables DP-1, QT-P1, and QT-P13 between 12/15/11-4/5/12. Some of the data cells in these tables were found to be erroneous and the tables were removed on 4/9/12. The data cells will be corrected and the three tables re-released as soon as possible. In quick table DP-1 the male institutionalized population count and percentage were incorrect. In quick table QT-P1, the percentages of the total, male, and female population shown for ages 16 and over, 18 and over, 21 and over, 60 and over, 62 and over, 67 and over, and 75 and over were incorrect. In QT-P13, the percentages shown for the total institutionalized and noninstitutionalized population in age groups under 18, 18 to 64, and 65 and over were based on the total group quarters counts by sex, rather than on the total institutionalized and noninstitutionalized populations by sex as intended. The intended percentages would show the age distribution by sex within the institutionalized and noninstitutionalized population and would correspond to table QT-P13 previously released in Summary File 1. A user note will be issued shortly.
